Deze privacy policy geldt voor de BeatLine app en website, bereikbaar via beatlinegame.com. BeatLine is een interactieve muziektrivia-game waarmee gebruikers hun muziekkennis kunnen testen en verbeteren.
Door BeatLine te gebruiken ga je akkoord met de verwerking van gegevens zoals beschreven in deze privacy policy.
1. Welke gegevens verwerken wij?
BeatLine verwerkt alleen gegevens die nodig zijn om de app en website goed te laten werken. Afhankelijk van hoe je BeatLine gebruikt, kunnen wij de volgende gegevens verwerken:
- accountgegevens, zoals gebruikers-ID, e-mailadres of gebruikersnaam;
- spelgegevens, zoals scores, voortgang, instellingen, gekozen playlists en gebruikte promo-codes;
- technische gegevens, zoals IP-adres, apparaat-/browserinformatie, besturingssysteem, foutmeldingen en loggegevens;
- pushnotificatiegegevens, zoals een push-token om meldingen naar de app te kunnen sturen;
- aankoop- en abonnementsstatus, zoals order-ID, product-ID, aankoopstatus, aankoop-token en vervaldatum van een abonnement;
- gegevens die nodig zijn om inloggen, accountkoppeling en betaalde toegang te laten werken.
BeatLine verwerkt geen volledige betaalkaartgegevens en slaat deze ook niet op.
2. Waarvoor gebruiken wij deze gegevens?
Wij gebruiken gegevens om:
- de app en website te laten werken;
- gebruikers te laten inloggen;
- playlists, scores, voortgang en instellingen te onthouden;
- gratis en betaalde memberfuncties te beheren;
- aankopen, abonnementen en promo-codes te controleren;
- pushnotificaties te versturen als je apparaat daarvoor is geregistreerd;
- technische problemen, misbruik of fraude te voorkomen en op te lossen;
- de dienst te verbeteren.
3. Betalingen en abonnementen
BeatLine kan betaalde functies aanbieden, zoals toegang tot extra playlists of een BeatLine Member-abonnement.
Betalingen in de Android-app verlopen via Google Play Billing. BeatLine ontvangt geen volledige betaalgegevens, maar kan wel noodzakelijke aankoopinformatie ontvangen, zoals product-ID, aankoop-token, abonnementsstatus en vervaldatum. Deze gegevens worden gebruikt om te controleren of je recht hebt op betaalde toegang.
Betalingen via de website kunnen verlopen via WooCommerce en externe betaalproviders, zoals Stripe/WooPayments of andere beschikbare betaalmethoden. Deze betaalproviders verwerken de betaling zelf. BeatLine ontvangt alleen de informatie die nodig is om je toegang te activeren en de administratie bij te houden.
4. Muziek en diensten van derden
BeatLine host, verkoopt of distribueert geen muziekbestanden. Muziekfragmenten en gerelateerde content kunnen worden afgespeeld via externe diensten, zoals:
- Spotify;
- Apple Music;
- YouTube;
- Google Play Services;
- Firebase Cloud Messaging;
- Google Play Billing.
Wanneer je functies gebruikt die afhankelijk zijn van deze diensten, kan je apparaat rechtstreeks verbinding maken met servers van deze partijen. Deze partijen kunnen hun eigen privacybeleid en voorwaarden toepassen.
BeatLine is niet verantwoordelijk voor de manier waarop externe diensten hun eigen gegevens verwerken.
5. Delen van gegevens
Wij verkopen je persoonsgegevens niet.
Wij delen gegevens alleen wanneer dat nodig is voor:
- technische hosting en beveiliging;
- betaling en abonnementscontrole;
- pushnotificaties;
- wettelijke verplichtingen;
- fraudepreventie of misbruikonderzoek;
- ondersteuning of foutoplossing.
Waar mogelijk beperken wij gedeelde gegevens tot wat strikt noodzakelijk is.
6. Cookies en lokale opslag
BeatLine kan cookies, lokale opslag of vergelijkbare technieken gebruiken om de app en website goed te laten werken. Dit kan bijvoorbeeld nodig zijn om instellingen, sessies, loginstatus, playlists, cache of spelvoortgang te bewaren.
7. Bewaartermijn
Wij bewaren gegevens niet langer dan nodig is voor het doel waarvoor ze zijn verzameld.
Account- en spelgegevens bewaren wij zolang je account actief is of zolang dit nodig is om de dienst te leveren. Aankoop- en abonnementsgegevens kunnen langer worden bewaard als dit nodig is voor administratie, beveiliging, fraudepreventie of wettelijke verplichtingen.
8. Beveiliging
Wij nemen redelijke technische en organisatorische maatregelen om gegevens te beschermen tegen verlies, misbruik en ongeoorloofde toegang. Geen enkele online dienst kan echter volledige beveiliging garanderen.
9. Kinderen
BeatLine is bedoeld voor algemeen gebruik als entertainment- en trivia-app. Als een minderjarige BeatLine gebruikt, moet dit gebeuren met toestemming van een ouder of verzorger wanneer dit wettelijk vereist is.
Wij verzamelen niet bewust persoonsgegevens van kinderen onder de 13 jaar. Als je denkt dat wij toch gegevens van een kind onder de 13 jaar hebben verwerkt, neem dan contact met ons op zodat wij passende actie kunnen ondernemen.
10. Je rechten
Je kunt ons vragen om:
- inzage te krijgen in je persoonsgegevens;
- onjuiste gegevens te corrigeren;
- gegevens te verwijderen;

Na verwijdering kunnen bepaalde gegevens nog tijdelijk bewaard blijven als dit nodig is voor beveiliging, fraudepreventie, wettelijke verplichtingen of geschillenafhandeling.
12. Wijzigingen
Wij kunnen deze privacy policy van tijd tot tijd aanpassen. De nieuwste versie wordt beschikbaar gesteld via de app of website. Als je BeatLine blijft gebruiken na een wijziging, geldt de aangepaste versie.

This Privacy Policy applies to the BeatLine app and website, available at beatlinegame.com. BeatLine is an interactive music trivia game that allows users to test and improve their music knowledge.
By using BeatLine, you agree to the processing of data as described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
BeatLine only processes data that is necessary to provide and improve the app and website. Depending on how you use BeatLine, we may process the following information:
- account information, such as user ID, email address or username;
- game data, such as scores, progress, settings, selected playlists and redeemed promo codes;
- technical data, such as IP address, device/browser information, operating system, error logs and usage data;
- push notification data, such as a push token used to send notifications to the app;
- purchase and subscription data, such as order ID, product ID, purchase status, purchase token and subscription expiry date;
- information needed for login, account linking and paid access.
BeatLine does not process or store full payment card details.
2. How we use your information
We use data to:
- operate the app and website;
- allow users to log in;
- remember playlists, scores, progress and settings;
- manage free and paid member features;
- verify purchases, subscriptions and promo codes;
- send push notifications if your device is registered for them;
- prevent and resolve technical issues, abuse or fraud;
- improve the service.
3. Payments and subscriptions
BeatLine may offer paid features, such as access to extra playlists or a BeatLine Member subscription.
Payments in the Android app are processed through Google Play Billing. BeatLine does not receive full payment details, but may receive necessary purchase information such as product ID, purchase token, subscription status and expiry date. This information is used to verify whether you are entitled to paid access.
Payments through the website may be processed through WooCommerce and external payment providers, such as Stripe/WooPayments or other available payment methods. These providers process the payment themselves. BeatLine only receives the information needed to activate access and maintain administration.
4. Music and third-party services
BeatLine does not host, sell or distribute music files. Music previews and related content may be played through external services, such as:
- Spotify;
- Apple Music;
- YouTube;
- Google Play Services;
- Firebase Cloud Messaging;
- Google Play Billing.
When you use features that depend on these services, your device may connect directly to servers operated by those third parties. These third parties may apply their own privacy policies and terms.
BeatLine is not responsible for how third-party services process their own data.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal data.
We only share data when necessary for:
- technical hosting and security;
- payment and subscription verification;
- push notifications;
- legal obligations;
- fraud prevention or abuse investigation;
- support or troubleshooting.
Where possible, we limit shared data to what is strictly necessary.
6. Cookies and local storage
